Both with a car and means of public transport, you are able to reach Berlin downtown within half an hour or - if you'd like to - the woods and lakes of Brandenburg. The connection to urban railway, tram and bus is very good. Additionally, Schöneiche has an own link to the "Berliner Ring", an autobahn ring around the German capital.
We are working in small teams with flat hierarchies. Interdisciplinary interaction means a lot to us. While working with OSL you are granted the opportunity of evolving yourself into a recognized professional by succeeding in exciting and diversified projects. We are committed to the attitude that only a close cooperation with our customers allows us to develop the products that meet the most challeging requirements. As a consequence, the collaboration with our customers and partners means a lot to us. To be able to cope with the most recent trends in the digital industry, all OSL-employees regularily pass further trainings.
OSL moved to a new residence directly in the town centre of Schöneiche in 2012. Here we meet all the requirements that a usual for a high-tech company: light-flooded and generous work places with the latest hardware. In our house there are also training locations and an own test data centre where we are testing prototypes before they are being run with real-world applications.
One aspect that is also important in every day life: A big grocery store is only around 150 metres away. Of course OSL also offers team events and other benefits to our employees. One major activity is the "OSL IT-Pokal" a sailing regatta that takes place every year.
Schöneiche is a township in the rural district Oder-Spree of the state of Brandenburg. It has 12000 inhabitants and borders directly to Treptow-Köpenick, a borough in the south-east of Berlin. In Schöneiche, surprisingly versatile offers in culture, sports and other leisure activities meet an attractive living environment. At the beginning of the last century, Schöneiche was an desired residence for artists, intellectuals and civil servants. Nowadays there are many new inhabitants and almost three out of four of them are working in the city of Berlin. For these young families the local government established lots of kindergartens, schools and other supplementary measures.
And of course right next to us there is Berlin with all of it's freedoms and opportunities.
By the way: The majority of our staff lives in Berlin. No matter of how you get to work - you are always travelling in the opposite direction of most commuters. In this way your travel is quite relaxed.
